Ok firstly I just want to say a big thank you to Kendra for writing a beautiful love story that had me taken to a getaway place, and a love story that had me gripped to my seat. I've been with this couple from the beginning so I'd say I'm more emotionally involved. This had everything in it secrets, passion, love, lust, and a whole lot of intrigue. I suppose though it was the LOVE that was centre and why I enjoyed it so much, plus how much Ethan adored his other heart.
This final instalment was a big whole epilogue to me. Lots of secrets and final endings.
I honestly don't want to give anything away so I'm going to be a little blasé about this and just explain some of my final thoughts.
EthanGah he is a hero of all hero's, he loves his soul and his other half like no other and did everything he could to make Angel happy. He would stride a head and do what was needed to make sure Angel was happy and content. He was also dominating, loving, made her his home and fell for her HARD. In a way this story came full circle in an effect, it came back to the beginning and I was at the edge of my seat in certain scenes, they pulled at my heart in plot senses yet also this very much a character driven story and Ethan as a whole just knew what he wanted, and went ahead and did what he did best. He thrived to make Angel right, make her believe, feel and belong somewhere above all he made her feel safe, content, happy and loved.
"I can feel your need, baby." Ethan's voice was hoarse and ragged. "Feel it." I responded. "Because it's you that I need. Fuck me until I can't feel anything but you inside me."
AngelicaAngel has a broken past, a past of sorrow and because of that a hurtful beginning in life. Yet she is now building her life to be a place of happiness. I suppose the one thing that spoke volumes was how real some scenes were to me, they were emotional and a joy to read and a memoir of sorts.
Above all I will say that Kendra has become a favourite author to me, I took a chance and I made a new friend in the process, I'm not giving this 5 stars out of anything but the skills of her writing for a debt author she sure hell had me gripped to the pages. I have found some brilliant authors and reads while being in this romance readers world and I love the bigger authors, I have my favourites. Then sometimes the smaller authors touch my heart in more ways than one and made this series more of an emotional journey.
There was a whole lot of sensual HOT raw erotic scenes as well, some a little cheesy but mostly because they were loving and Ethan knew how to look after his woman. I'd say this series has become a guilty pleasure for me and I will pick up Kendra's books for definite in the future.
If you enjoy Billionaire reads with some angsty parts & some jaw dropping plot twists then this is definitely for you.

“Angel?” Ethan’s low, husky tones startled me. He stood in the doorway wearing nothing but a pair of low-slung, faded jeans, the sight of him inciting my taste buds to drool desirously, like chocolate melting on my tongue. “Come here,” he instructed.
Obeying instantly, I unfurled my legs and moved across the room toward him. He gazed at me, his expression still inscrutable, and then slowly he moved around to my back. “Close your eyes.”
Again, I complied without hesitation. I felt something soft brush gently against my eyelids, a smooth, silky fabric blocking out all remaining light as it tightened against my skin. He was blindfolding me. My heart struck my chest wall with a sudden instinctive foretaste of what was to come. The blindfold, his insistence that I wear my red shoes, his near-naked form in the doorway, suggested only one thing. But his talk of my needing to learn a lesson, his tone, and impenetrable mood hinted at something different. Nonetheless, my skin prickled with eager expectation as I waited for my next instruction in the darkness behind my eyelids.
Suddenly, his voice startled me. He was closer than I’d imagined, his breath warm against my ear, his smell … exquisite. “How does that make you feel?” Misreading the question, I nodded to let him know I was okay.
“No, Angel. Tell me how it makes you feel.” His voice was slightly harsher than before, more demanding. I thought about what he wanted me to say, trying to tune in to the sensations I was feeling, but struggling.
“Restricted,” I said finally.
“Anything else?” He’d shifted, his lips grazing the lobe of my other ear now.
“Think beyond the blindfold.”
My mind searched for the answer, and then after a beat I whispered, “Aware. I feel more aware.”
“What is it about me you’re more aware of?”
“How close you are … Your scent.”
“My scent? And what does it smell like?”
Hesitating, I scrambled for words to try and describe it, eventually arriving at, “You.”
I felt him smile briefly against my cheek and then he was gone.
