4 Very Intriguing Stars
Well what a sexy ass number this was, yet I found myself gripped to the pages and invested in Evans problem and above all emotionally involved in why he has this issue in the first place...
Evan has worked for a while, yet here he is at last gaining a job in an area he once was perfect in.
Reagan is successful, talented, sexy and is somewhat secretive about who she really is. And Evan can't get enough of her, he can't seem to move past her smell, and he wants to take her...
All I'm going to say here is, this novella held me from the beginning. I giggled at parts, was engrossed into the plot and then enjoyed the sensuality of the characters and what their appetite meant. I will also say I felt slightly sorry for Evan and that meant that I was emotionally involved with him, I enjoyed his possession and lack of self worth. His vulnerability shone through and I'm looking forward to much more of his softer side 'hopefully' in part two!
That. Is. All

4.75 Coffee Cups and Sexting Stars
Ok this one was much more of a deeper journey than the first. I would say as well this is much more Reagan's side and what and how and when things happen. This was primarily about her and what she's going to do.
This starts up pretty much after part one finishes, where Evan starts to help himself. Find a way to tackle his 'Issue' and find some kind of peace in his place in his workplace.
Reagan is there to help.
Saying that, she has secrets that are coming to surface. I found this to be much more about Reagan and her demons. Even though she is 'helping Evan' she is also tackling her own nightmares. I again devoured this one, but the further we go into it, the more I'm enjoying the ride and hoping to see MORE of them tackle what is going on underneath the surface!
What I loved though was the emails, the coffee and the banter between them. The added surprises and the extra personal sentiments.
I loved how Evan is started to take a hold of his addiction. Serials aren't usually my favourite but I will say I LOVE Ella Franks writing style so grabbed this because of that reason alone, we love our favourites right? No disrespect to Brooke I just haven't read anything by her yet.. But A Desperate Man is soon becoming a favourite series of mine and a highly recommended read. If you like to dab into the erotic/serial genre then this is for you. I will say though the plot is what is grabbing me more than anything else and I am gobbling this up..

4.75 Desperate Stars
This last volume has to be my favourite I think.
Here we have a Liar versus a
How they decide to take a chance and move forward.
What I loved In this volume was how they United and how the people around them pushed them together. There was a titge element of family and connections in this one.
I loved how Evan dominated Reagan and decided to take what was his, in his sensual ways but also his animalistic need for HER. Not just to have sex but for more and to love his own. I will say though that this was much more an emotional read for me. Being that book two left us with some realisations and Reagan becoming a liar. This was about a Broken man finding his way and a strong feisty heroine fighting back for what she's always wanted from the beginning.
The sex was HOT as EVER and also passionate and loving, They came full circle in this one. I have devoured this series this week and loved every bit of the journey. Its plot held me throughout and really in this last one I got a much deeper and emotional connection to both the Hero and Heroine. This was a sexy, intriguing, toes curling sexy read. And I'm looking forward to more from these authors in the future.

“SO LET ME get this straight.” Dr. Glover lifted the end of his pen to his lips as his eyes narrowed on Evan over the top of his glasses. “The woman we’ve been discussing over the past few weeks finally shows you that she wants more, and you left her in an emotional heap in her office. Did I get that right?”
Evan stretched his long legs out in front of him. She thinks I fucked a prostitute the day after I left her apartment, so, yeah, that’s about right. Sighing, he leaned back into the worn leather couch. “You left out the part about her being a liar. And not someone I met in the last few weeks. She had an agenda.”
“So did you.”
“And what the hell was that?”
“You wanted to fuck her.”
“Jesus, you get right to the point, don’t you?”
“Well, that’s what you do. Isn’t it?”
I thought it was until I became obsessed with a leggy fucking blonde. Evan glared at the man whose eyes he swore fucking twinkled. “Even if it is, what therapist talks like you do? I’m positive they don’t teach you that in Patient-Client Relations 101.”
“I’ve always been a firm believer in no bullshit. I told you that the day you walked in and tried to lie to me. We aren’t going to make any progress if you don’t trust me and I don’t trust you.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know. You’re just—”
Evan waved him off. “Nothing. I guess I’m still trying to process the fact that Reagan is that little girl from so long ago. A whole fucking life ago. It’s… I don’t know,” he said, running his fingers through his hair in frustration. “It’s disconcerting. She knew “And that bothers you.”
“Fuck yes, it bothers me. I was ten years old the last time I saw her. Innocent.
And now I’m…this.”
“You’re awfully hard on yourself. I wonder if you’re upset over what you’re saying or over Reagan thinking bad of you.”
And there it was. The truth he didn’t want to admit. Reagan accusing him of being with anyone hours after he’d been with her had infuriated him. Which was ridiculous, because he knew what he was. The demons he’d been trying to fight. Why would she assume anything but the worst? But with that anger came embarrassment and shame. He hated that she’d seen him on that corner. Hated that she’d seen him with Layla. But how the fuck could he ever convince her otherwise? And why would he even want to?
“She’s a liar,” he said.
“And you’re a sex addict. Fantastic pairing.”
